How it works
Understanding the rate board
The main rate board is designed to give you a quick view of the strongest available buy and sell prices found in the sources being checked. Individual exchanges are also shown separately so you can compare their offers instead of relying on a single number.
What the spread shows
The spread is the difference between the best available buy-side and sell-side prices. It can help show how far apart the two sides of the market are at a particular moment.
A smaller spread can indicate that the available prices are relatively close, while a larger spread may appear when liquidity is lower or the market is moving quickly. It is a comparison figure, not a guaranteed transaction cost.
Comparing with the reference rate
GtsPunjab may also display a general currency reference rate alongside exchange prices. This provides a useful benchmark for seeing how market quotes compare with a broader currency reference.
The reference figure should not be confused with a guaranteed USDT trading price. Actual exchange prices can differ because of supply, demand, liquidity, fees, payment methods, and other market conditions.
How current are the figures?
Rate sources are checked periodically, and the website may display the age or update time of the information where available. A price shown on the page can become outdated as soon as the underlying market changes.
If a source temporarily stops responding, the website may continue showing previously collected information until a newer result becomes available. Always check the source directly before relying on a rate for a transaction.
Offer limits matter
Peer-to-peer listings can include minimum and maximum transaction amounts. These limits are important when comparing offers because the highest or lowest displayed rate may not be available for the amount you want to exchange.
Before choosing an offer, review its available amount, payment method, fees, and other conditions on the original exchange.
